LGBT History Month Short Film Night

  • The Scottish Parliament EH99 1SP (map)

Join SPOut, the Scottish Parliament LGBT+ network, the Financial Conduct Authority & SWAN LGBT Networking for an evening of short LGBT films.

Specially chosen by our friends at SQUIFF, enjoy an evening of short films and networking to celebrate LGBT History Month. The event is free and there will be access to a paying bar on the night. More details on the films will be released nearer the time but we are excited to bring you a range of short films profiling our diverse community and there will be plenty time for you to mingle and network.

PLEASE NOTE:

In order to make your visit to the Parliament as enjoyable an experience as possible, please inform us of any arrangements that can be made to enable full access to the event. It would be extremely helpful if you did this in advance of the event to enable the necessary arrangements to be put in place. Wheelchairs are available upon request.

All films being shown will be captioned or have subtitles available.

Public parking spaces are reserved for disabled people on Horse Wynd. There is no public parking at the Parliament.

Please arrive at the Scottish Parliament’s Public Entrance on Horse Wynd. If you have difficulty standing in queues, please contact us prior to attending the event and we will provide you with assistance; alternatively, on arrival, please make your way to the front of the queue and advise a member of Security.

Security procedures will be in place for everyone entering the building, which include an airport-style check. Guests will be accompanied at all times when moving around the building.

Please register for the event at the Visitor Information Desk in the Main Hall, where you will be issued with a Parliament event lanyard.
